LA PLAZA DE LA CANDELARIA

Our main square is the heart of the village, with its fountain and white poplar providing coolness in the summer. We have incredible fiestas and barbecues in the plaza, as well as a fun monthly market on the second Saturday of the month (except in January, February, March and August). Local products and produce, arts and crafts, second hand treasures, food and more... Our market is open to anyone who wants to come buy and sell their quality goods.

LA ESCUELITA CULTURAL CENTRE

This former village schoolhouse has seen it all: art exhibitions, disco parties, yoga classes, movie nights... Since we received a classy Yamaha grand piano from Wolfgang, we've also begun investing in sound proofing the space for better acoustics for live shows and recordings.

Stay posted for upcoming ARTalbeitar exhibits and events.

CASA PAPRIKA

Casa Paprika is the village social club and headquarters of AtalbeitarExiste. We hold meetings here, eat, drink and make merry.

Tamas, who runs the social club, is also a renowned pianist and sound engineer. If you're a musician, or just a music lover, then get in touch to find out about live music venues, jam sessions, recording possibilities and artist retreats.

Visit www.tomisheep.rocks for more info.

You might also be able to grab a bite to eat. And good news: we use only seasonal, local products! It's a place that takes care of the body and soul.

LA ROCA GARDEN

During a torrential rainstorm in 1997, a thousand-tonne boulder came crashing into the village, causing some damage to trees and animal stables, or cuadras, yet miraculously avoiding all houses. This area fell into disarray, until a small group of neighbours decided to landscape it into a community garden. Today, el Jardin de la Roca is a shaded little haven filled with herbs and flowers.

MAD HATTER'S UTOPIA

Our neighbour Mike is a wacky one, with an impressive hat collection, a couple of green thumbs and an eye for detail. Over the last few years he's transformed a barren terrace into a playground for butterflies, frogs and anyone who wanders down his way. Guests are welcome to stop by for tea and a bit of historic storytelling.

Contributions are welcome!

MERKABA GALLERY

This family home houses impressive talent, with father and sons all artists and inventors. Ring the bell when you walk by, and if Gabriel or the boys are home they'll be happy to show you around their art gallery and mini-museum of local artefacts.
